The grievance under investigation could relate to any number of allegations defense attorneys have made against Righthaven and its procedures — which are unusual for the newspaper industry — of detecting online infringements of Review-Journal material, obtaining copyrights to the infringed material and then suing over the retroactive infringements.See: Article in full
How Do You File a Grievance?
As stated on the State Bar of Nevada website, "no special form is necessary to file a complaint." Such greviances must be in writing and can be sent via U.S. mail, fax or email (complaint@nvbar.org). Persons may wish to review the Nevada Rules of Professional Conduct prior to sending. The Office of Bar Counsel typically completes the initial review of grievances within ten business days of receipt.
The website also states that they provide a "complaint form" to assist persons. This form, however, could not be located.
